About this service
The critical care program at Grand River Hospital provides care to seriously ill patients who need intensive monitoring and specialized life-saving interventions. We have two intensive care units, both of which are at GRHs KW Campus: ICU A is for patients needing or likely to need advanced medical and technological support for disorders affecting the lungs, and other major organ systems; and ICU B provides monitoring to patients whose condition is less critical, but are considered unstable or too ill to receive care in a medical/surgical unit.
