About this service
Restorative Practice in schools is a way of thinking and being that commits to creating healthy and collaborative relationships. It is a set of principles and practices that help adults and young people in schools to both understand and respond to conflict in a healthy way. Research shows that restorative practices have been successful in strengthening school communities. It teaches adults and students to take responsibility, improves classroom dynamics and improves school safety.
Community Justice Initiatives offers planning, coaching, curriculum development, mentoring and training in classroom meetings/restorative circles and peer mediation for both elementary and high schools.
Programs will be tailored to fit your needs and budget, please call to discuss. We look forward to hearing from you.
