We focus our funding on organizations and activities in our home community of Waterloo Region. As a charitable foundation registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation may only make grants to registered charities or other qualified donees under the Income Tax Act. We recognize that the ways to do good in our world are changing. In certain circumstances, applications will be accepted from non-qualified donees working directly with a charitable partner. If your organization is not a registered charity or qualified donee, but you have a proposal that meets the Foundations funding priorities and criteria, please contact us with a brief outline of your organization and project proposal. We may be able to assist.
