Camp Micah: Leadership for Peace and Justice

Camp Micah seeks to be an intergenerational, multi-racial community of peacemakers, educators and activists committed to the liberation of every human being from every kind of bondage. Camp Micah offers youth in grades 9-12 an immersive community experience where they can: Connect across difference Learn how to be an ally Model an inclusive world Experience authentic relationships Grow in confidence Encounter nature Explore spirituality Imagine new ways to live Have fun!

Home away from home When you arrive at camp you will be placed in a home group of 5-7 participants. Two fantastic leaders will be with your group throughout your time at camp. You will eat together and participate in morning and evening workshops as a group. If you come to camp not knowing another participant - don't worry! Afternoons are for activities At this beautiful camp site you can cool off in the lake, try stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, rock climbing, or try the high ropes course. You can take a nap in the shade, play music, knit, write songs, and more. Engaging workshops At Camp Micah workshops are active and creative. We learn through play, role-play activities, film, group reflection, music, art, creative prayer, and so much more. Participants will explore issues of social justice with our amazing staff who have a wealth of experience in various fields. Develop your leadership gifts and reflect on how you make a difference in the world. All while having a lot of fun.
