About this service
Your extended day child will be cared for by Registered Early Childhood Educators (or other relevant training and Ministry of Education Director approved) at a ratio of one educator for every thirteen children.
Although not always in our control, we endeavour to provide environments that mirror a home like environment with a strong focus on the natural world. We recognize at Frontenac County Childcare Centre that children spend a number of hours per day with us and it is important to us that we do not replace home but simply mirror it. As for the natural world, we also know that children who have a strong connection to their natural world do better emotionally and socially.
