About this service
Corner Clubhouse Daycare Centre Inc. opened in early 1989 at the corner of MacDonnell and Brock Streets in Kingston, Ontario with 32 childcare spaces. In 2008, we purchased a house within the same block and opened an additional 40 spaces at the corner of MacDonnell and Mack Streets.
Corner Clubhouse Daycare Centre was formed to provide young children with a positive and caring environment conducive to social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Through activities planned and presented by staff trained in Early Childhood Education, children may develop a sense of curiosity, awareness and respect for the world around them and for the people in it.
In all group activities, the emphasis is on the value of fair-play and co-operation. Problem solving is dealt with in a manner which encourages the child to make suggestions and decisions for a positive and productive outcome.
