About this service
Designed for individuals who are looking to return to the workplace after absences due to mental health issues, this equine assisted therapy program equips participants with job success readiness. Through both support sessions and hands-on horse and barn care at a Newmarket-King Township horse farm, training will be provided to master and maintain healthy and rewarding employment skills which in turn will provide strengths in both personal and inter-personal growth and awareness.
Participants are referred to this program by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and we are expanding the participant application opportunities to include other referring organizations.
