Description:
The Early Childhood Development Program is a program that aims to deliver addiction counselling to substance-using pregnant and parenting women. The program is delivered through Addictions Services Kenora, at both the adult program office at 21 Wolsley and the youth program office at 12 Main Street South. The program is targeted to women who are pregnant or have children aged 0-6 and are concerned about their alcohol and/or drug use. We offer free, one to one confidential counselling and support, a menu of treatment options to meet individual needs, links to prenatal and other community support programs, and recognition of cultural diversity. Our office has a friendly play space for children and space for group and individual counselling. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
