Description:
The Adult and Youth Addictions Programs are community based outpatient services providing treatment to individuals, couples, families or groups, 12 years of age to adult from Kenora and the surrounding area who are experiencing problems due to activities relating to or from the use of substances. These programs offer addiction assessments and referrals providing community based treatment. Individual and group counselling are available using harm reduction strategies. Support for family members or persons affected by the addiction of others is also available. Workshops and community presentations are provided with information services available to other agencies, employers, schools and medical professionals. Hours of service are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Adult Program was established in 1987 and the Youth Program in 1993.
