About this service
This program offers services to any person who self-identifies as a woman 16 years of age or over, with or without dependants, who is a victim or who is at risk of being a victim of violence and/or abuse. Women and their dependants can access emergency shelter services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, pending bed availability. Dependants include children and family members who are cared for by a woman seeking shelter, including male children aged 18 years or less. Women 16 years of age or over, with or without dependants, including children and family members under their care.
