About this service
The 3rd Space Resource Centre is a place for all community members to access books and computers for free. People are able to take a book, leave a book in a similar fashion to the little libraries that have popped up all over Hamilton. The library offers books at no cost to kids, youth, seniors, and individuals at all reading levels they even make an ideal Christmas gift!
We host computer classes for people to participate in to learn basic computer skills, enhance existing ones and have an opportunity to ask an expert any questions that they might have regarding using a computer. Whether learning how to Skype, or use Excel, the classes are open to all free of charge. The computer lab is used quite frequently during the food bank program by participants who can search for jobs, be updated on communications, create resumes and research about supports that are available to them.
