Provides minimal supports to people living in their own apartments in Hamilton. Supports usually focus on developing skills for greater independence and safety.
Lodging Home Supports
In conjunction with the lodging home team, Lawson Ministries staff provide tailored supports according to the needs of each resident. Residents must have a developmental disability to qualify for enhanced supports. The hours are flexible and focus on enhancing the existing supports for the individual during the day, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Specialized Supports
Lawson Ministries Hamilton has provided supports to people with combined developmental disability and psychiatric diagnosis such as bi-polar disorder and early childhood trauma, Dual-Diagnosis. We also support people with challenging and aggressive behaviors.
