About this service
Located on the ground level of St. Josephs Villa in downtown Dundas, our warm therapeutic pool is open to community year round. Heated to 32 C, the pools depth of 3 to 4.5 feet allows us to offer a variety of adult, children and infant classes as well as leisure and family swims.
Our certified instructors lead classes suitable for all fitness levels and abilities. Our aquatic therapy classes are designed to:
- improve cardiovascular condition and endurance
- build muscle strength,
- increase balance, stability and joint mobility.
The warmth of the water and more gentle classes are ideal for individuals with:
- arthritis
- fibromyalgia
- chronic joint and muscle pain
- joint replacements, or general aches and stiffness
Our pool provides easy access with handrails, lift system and grab bars, if needed.
