About this service
Both our Toronto & Hamilton Centres offer a Day Program for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Our Day Program is a place for social interaction, a place where people with a broad spectrum of disabilities can share experiences and support one another.
- Arts and Crafts
- Theatre and Drama
- Music Classes
- Computer and technology training. This enables people to reach out to the broader community through the internet.
- Daily Physical Activity, Stretching, and basic ROM exercises.
- Educational seminars covering a wide array of topics (e.g. Living independently with disabilities, nutrition & health issues, etc.)
- Snoezelen Room and Portable Snoezelen Room experiences enabling clients to be engaged at a multi-sensory level.
- Life Skills. Various components including a cooking program.
