About this service
Hatts Off works in conjunction with a number of school boards within the province to provide special classroom settings for residents who are unable to attend community schools. Teachers in these classes are supported by Hatts Off Child and Youth Worker staff to create a structured and supervised environment while students benefit from a curriculum that has been designed to best suit their individual learning needs. As students progress in the section schools, it is hoped that they will develop the social and academic skills to integrate into the community school system.
