About this service
It is a good idea to plan now for when you die. You may need a "will". Lawyers charge to prepare these documents, so people with low incomes often cannot afford them.
The Hamilton Pro Bono Project may be able to help you. Lawyers volunteer their time to make wills for people who cannot afford to pay for the service. The Project started in 2004 and the volunteer lawyers have assisted people with disabilities, those with terminal illnesses, single parents and other low income adults.
