About this service
Located in Hamilton, this day program provides activities and opportunities for attendees to access the community and surrounding area to improve life skills. Each attendee has a person centered plan that is based on goals and outcomes that they personally want to achieve.
Some of the activities may include accessing public transportation, trips to libraries and museums, or out to just enjoy the flavour of the neighbourhood in the warm weather. Inside activities may include arts and crafts, pet and music therapy, together with improving literacy skills and computer use.
Everyone who attends assists in doing their part to improve the environment, from assisting in the clean up of the interior, to working outside in maintaining the property, and all attendees have fun working together. The building is wheelchair accessible and has a Snoezelen Room.
