About this organization
Lisgar Public School a uniform school and is located on the East mountain between Upper Ottawa and Upper Kenilworth. The school is located on 13 acres of Board property adjacent to Lisgar Park. The students have access to soccer, baseball and basketball facilities.
The school was built in 1963 and opened in 1964. Lisgar was originally built as a Kindergarten to Grade 5 school. In September 2003, after the closing of Hampton Heights Middle School, Lisgar became a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school. We also run full day Kindergarten program.
We are a neighbourhood school which operates on a Balanced Day Timetable. We run a milk program and nutritional snack program for the students as well.
