COAST (Crisis Outreach and Support Team) answers the crisis line 24-7. We try to pick up every call, but occasionally all our lines are busy. Please leave a brief message and we will call you back, usually within 10 minutes.A crisis is when a person feels they cant cope anymore. A person might feel out of control, or might be having thoughts of harming someone else or themself. Sometimes a person in crisis has thoughts of ending their life. If this is you or someone else, take it seriously and reach out for help.

If anyone is at IMMEDIATE risk of serious harm, CALL 911.

This includes medical distress, violence/use of weapons, or immediate threat to life or limb.

COAST is a partnership between St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton and Hamilton Police Services.
