About this service
Provide assistance to needy individuals and families within the boundaries of the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph, Ontario by giving vouchers for food, clothing, basic furniture, bus transportation, and housewares on an emergency basis or to supplement assistance provided by other charitable organizations and government agencies. Assisting the Guelph Welcome In Drop in Centre with financing food pantry replenishment. Additional periodic activities include funding summer camp attendance for underprivileged children and similar activities as needs arise. Provide financial support to the Royal Christian Life Centre for food purchases for their evening meal program for the homeless.
