About this service
The programs at Parkview Day Care are designed to provide children with positive learning opportunities in a loving environment. Emergent curriculum is a planning approach that supports our belief that children are active, sensory learners (competent, capable and curious). Through observations and interactions with the children, teachers observe what the children are showing an interest in and then provide activities and materials to encourage the children to explore, problem solve, and be participants in their own learning processes. The activities are developmentally appropriate, play based and child centered.
