About this service
Our Aftercare Program is about providing continuity, because new moms and their babies continue to require some level of care and support as they move into the community. Because the stresses of independent living can make this transition particularly difficult, our Michael House Aftercare Program helps our mothers retain what they have achieved during their time in the Residential or Supportive Housing Programs and remain focused on their goals. With our Aftercare Workers support, our Moms are able to develop community supports, access community resources, manage housing issues, find employment or continue schooling opportunities. Our Aftercare Workers also assist with parenting coaching as the child(ren) grow.
