About this service
Our programs offer flexible, spontaneous activities that become the starting point for further exploration in terms of how we develop our curriculum. Our educators enrich each child's educational experience by providing and facilitating activities that incorporate a variety of learning styles such as visual, verbal, kinesthetic and musical intelligences.
The Centre's philosophy is rooted in an Emergent style curriculum. Emergent curriculum supports programs that are developmentally appropriate and child-initiated through active participation in play. Our primary objective is to invite interest, stimulate creativity and satisfy the desire for children to explore and discover the world. Through interactions with teachers, peers and the environment, children develop a sense of belonging and mutual respect. Children's emerging skills in the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, communication, language and literacy domains are observed and documented.
