Women's groups A variety of support groups are offered each year to allow women to explore ways to move towards their personal goals and to inform and raise awareness among women and the population about the impacts of violence and aggression. of a sexual nature. The support groups are led by workers who guide discussions on various themes adapted to the needs of women, such as: self-esteem, affirmation, health and sexuality, healthy relationships, regaining power, anger, communication, grief, aggression, etc. Different groups are offered throughout the year. Participation in the programs offered by the center is free. Here are some examples of groups offered in the past: fantastic women Discover and grow through discussions and creativity touching on self-esteem, identity, communication and assertiveness, stress and relaxation, health and well-being. Women's self-help group A touching support group on a variety of topics, as identified by the participants. Healing through the arts This virtual group encourages self-discovery and exploration of emotions, self-esteem, anxiety, abuse and autonomy, through the arts. creative diary These workshops aim to support the development and individual journey of women, while exploring the use of certain creative drawing techniques. Offered by Nicholas Dupuis, the workshops on the unconventional diary include the following techniques: spontaneous drawing, writing, collage, creative games. My Inner Strengths: Support Group for Survivors of Sexual Assault A group on sexual assault and rebuilding your life after trauma. Topics include types of sexual assault, impact, emotions, grounding strategies, rebuilding self-esteem, consent, personal boundaries, healthy relationships and sexual rights. Naturelles Project Launched in 2019, this summer project encourages personal growth through nature-related activities.
