About this service
The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association, Sudbury Branch strives to improve accessibility in our communities and provides print interpretation services. Print Interpretation is a very effective tool for providing visual communication and facilitating understanding in a variety of settings. CHHA-Sudbury Branch has made Computerized Notetaking available across North-Eastern Ontario since 2003. We currently hire and train computerized notetakers through a program we have developed ourselves based on first-hand experience. The need for this service is high and as we become better known to the communities, the demand continues to increase. The CHHA Hearing Help Centre has also been outfitted for remote real time captioning services.
