About this service

Learning to hear and listen with a cochlear implant can be an exciting journey. It can also be fraught with frustration for many. CHHA, Sudbury provides resources and peer mentoring for recipients of a Cochlear Implant (CI) and those considering a CI. The objectives of Learning to Hear is: Provide support and mentoring to those with a cochlear implant. Assist people in making informed choices regarding cochlear implant surgery. Provide tools and resources to assist people in their journey of learning to hear with the device.
