About this service
The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA), Sudbury Branch created the Hear the Children Fund to help children cope with hearing loss and provide them with tools to ensure their success in school as well as in their daily lives. Educators from across North-Eastern Ontario are encouraged to contact CHHA, Sudbury whenever assistance is required. Support may include but not limited to: Providing needed sound amplification and personal listening systems (i.e. sound fields and personal FM systems) for the class room Promoting awareness and organizing activities and events on behalf of hard of hearing children Professional development of educators Enabling and fostering the continuous social development of hard of hearing youth
