About this service
ICANs Enhanced Congregate Care (ECC) Unit is an independent living program where four people deemed ALC live in a shared setting. The ECC units are wheelchair accessible and offer four bedrooms, two bathrooms and are equipped with ceiling track lifts in all bedrooms and bathrooms. ICAN provides full support services 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year. Staff are present in unit from 7 a.m to 11 p.m. daily. Overnight staff are available by appointment or by use of a call bell. Please note: A daily per diem rate is charged based on income. This includes rent, groceries, cable, phone, basic hygiene products and cleaning supplies. Fees may apply. In partnership with Health Sciences North.
