Carmichael Village

This property was originally known as Carmichael Village. Constructed in 1971, it consists of six townhouse blocks containing a total of 42 units. It is located at the corner of Second Avenue North and Camelot Drive, almost directly across from 241 Second Avenue North.

You can apply for community housing if: you are at least 16 years old, you are able to live independently, with or without support services (which you must arrange), all members of the household match one of the following descriptions: canadian citizen, landed immigrant, refugee, refugee claimant, have applied for refugee claimant status or have made an application for status as a permanent resident, no member of the household is currently under a removal order which has become enforceable, no member of the household owes money to any community housing provider in the province of ontario, and no member of the household has been convicted of an offence in relation to rent-geared-to-income assistance or found to have misrepresented their income for the purpose of rent-geared-to-income assistance by a court of law, the ontario rental housing tribunal or the landlord and tenant board.
