OUR VISION A healthy Francophone community. OUR MISSION The Center de sant communautaire du Grand Sudbury works to improve, maintain and restore the health and well-being of all Francophones. Strategic Directions Develop health care centered on the person and the community in order to meet their expectations and their needs; Deliver top quality programs and services of the highest level to improve the health status of Francophones; Aim for organizational excellence and ensure exemplary governance so that the CSCGS is an employer of choice. beliefs We believe that : Francophones have the right to social, community and health services in French; Access to quality health care in French has a very important effect on the life of a Francophone person; Primary care alone is not enough to improve and maintain the state of health of the population; The social determinants of health must guide the interventions of the Center de sant communautaire du Grand Sudbury; Health promotion and disease prevention are the most profitable investments in the health of Francophones; Judicious use of resources avoids duplication and encourages strategic partnerships; The establishment of a service in French for Francophones does not constitute duplication if the service exists only in English.

Our services and programs The Center de sant communautaire du Grand Sudbury offers a variety of free primary care services as well as community programs for all Francophones in Greater Sudbury, such as: Clinical services : medical care, counselling, nutrition; Community programs : physical activity classes, groups, workshops and presentations, occasional activities; Services for French-speaking newcomers; Services for the LGBTQ+ community ; Housing support services through the Homeless Network. The CSCGS has an interprofessional team composed of: Doctors Registered Nurses (RN) Nurse Practitioners (NP) Dietitian Social workers Community health workers Health Promotion Coordinator Community Development Coordinator
