About this organization
The Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre provides care and shelter for stray cats and dogs from Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina and Newmarket. All cats and dogs picked up by Animal Services officers from these four municipalities are brought to the Georgina Animal Shelter, if they cannot be returned home.
Winter hours of operation - open to the public (Oct. 1 to May 31)
Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Summer hours of operation - open to the public (June 1 to Sept. 30)
Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
