About this service
In the event of a disaster or crisis, our community crisis response team(s) will provide immediate support and resources to individuals and groups who have been affected.
Our crisis response teams provide on-scene assistance; emotional support and follow up to meet the practical needs of victims. Our team also provides group debriefing sessions.
Our group debriefings are facilitated by staff and volunteers, within the first three days of an incident to address the emotional and psychological impact of the disaster or crisis. The debriefing sessions provide coping strategies and a forum to address their concerns and establish support within a group who have had similar experiences.
