About this service
Alternatives for Youth is an outpatient program providing a variety of community treatment programs for youth and families of the youth, who have concerns related to alcohol and/or substance use and mental health. AFY encourages youth who are using alcohol and/or substances to look at alternatives, using a client-directed and harm reduction model.
AFY provides:
Individual, Group and Family Counselling
School-Based Outreach Services
Drug and Alcohol Assessments
Referrals to Residential Treatment Programs
Community/School-based Substance Awareness Sessions
Aftercare Services
Relapse Prevention
