About this service
The Healing Place is an initiative by Plenty Canada in partnership with Indigenous and conservation organizations, located in Shanly, Ontario, on Algonquin and Mohawk traditional lands. It features a medicine wheel garden, culturally significant plantings, and educational spaces fostering reconciliation and environmental stewardship. Future expansions include new Healing Gardens along the Bruce Trail, connecting northern and southern Ontario, to provide restorative spaces for Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.
