About this organization
This historic site features a structure built in the 1830s that served first as a grain mill, then as the location of an 1838 battle between American insurgents and British forces, and later as a lighthouse until 1978. Since 1994, the Friends of Windmill Point have worked with Parks Canada to provide educational programs and exhibits about the site's history.
