About this service
In 1982 Porter Place begins its work at Yonge Street and William Roe as the only mens emergency hostel in York Region. Porter Place is now currently located at our East Gwillimbury location and still remains as the only permanent emergency shelter for men in York Region. We provided shelter and support to over 288 individuals at Porter in 2016.
