About this service
SIRCH Repair Caf is a community initiative facilitated by SIRCH Community Services. It is a free event where volunteers with repair expertise assist community members in fixing their broken possessions. The range of items repaired is diverse and includes household electrical devices, mechanical objects, furniture, computers, bicycles, clothing, and even cherished antiques. Apart from the repair work, participants can also enjoy a warm community atmosphere with a cup of tea or coffee, or lend a hand with another person's repair job. There is also an opportunity for people to learn DIY repair techniques with the assistance of volunteer fixers.
