About this service
The Youth Job Connection program offers intensive, individualized job readiness & on the job training support to youth between 15 and 29 years of age who;
- are not currently employed
- not in school/training
- face complex and multiple barriers to employment including (poverty, homelessness, mental health issues)
The program provides:
- at least 60 hours of individualized job readiness training ( participant is paid to attend training)
- on the job training up to 26 weeks in duration
- opportunity to be mentored and coached by local employers
