About this service
The program provides emergency and follow-up care to women, men and children who have been recently sexually assaulted or are the victims and survivors of intimate partner abuse.
All services are confidential.
Care may include:
- Physical assessment and examination
- Documentation of injuries
- Collection of forensic evidence
- Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV prophylaxis
- Testing for pregnancy and emergency contraception.
- Supportive crisis counseling
- Follow-up services including re-documentation of injuries, medical care and emotional suppor
