Deseronto Public School is located in the community of Deseronto, approximately 37 km east of Belleville. Established in 1956 to replace a building from 1870, the school has a rich history and a student body of 170 students ranging from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. The school is equipped with plentiful facilities like a large playground, a gymnasium, a computer lab, and a library featuring a SMART Board. In collaboration with the School Council and public library, the school provides ample resources for student success and continuous improvement. Post Grade 8, students proceed to Eastside Secondary School in Belleville. The school also emphasizes nut allergy awareness, requesting parents to avoid sending snacks that contain nuts.
