About this service
CCSH provides support and intervention for seniors, adults with physical disabilities, and caregivers in critical situations. The goal is to listen, assess, and provide support in crisis intervention, stabilize, and put a plan in place for the long term. We make every effort to provide you with the information and contacts you need to resolve or de-escalate the situation and plan for a brighter future. Our client assistance support service provides advocacy in critical situations (risk of homelessness, abuse, isolation, etc.); the client's situation is stabilized, and a follow-up plan is established. Information and Referral Community Care for South Hastings has knowledgeable staff that can help you find the services you need to live at home or if it is finding information that you need, we can help with that too. If we cannot assist you, we will find someone who can!
