Who We Are...
The Prenatal Nutrition Program provides services that meet the identified needs of pre and postnatal moms and provides support to improve the health of Indigenous mothers and their babies up to six months of age that live off-reserve.
What We Do...
- Provide prenatal nutrition programs and information sessions.
- Inform participants about economical choices: food budget, diapers in lieu of disposable
- Assist participants in preparing nutritional lunches on weekly basis.
- Lease/lend items relating to prenatal and post natal care, resource material.
- Accept, organize and distribute clothing for babies.
- Provide on-going support to prenatal and postnatal moms through home visits, liaison, referrals to other Ininew Programs when necessary.
