About this service
This grant is paid in addition to other respite services to families caring for a child who is medically fragile and/or depends on a technological device needing care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Families are eligible who have a child under 18 years living at home who:
- Rely on medical and technological equipment
- Are given drugs intravenously
- Rely on tracheotomy tube care, suctioning, oxygen support or tube feeding

Child under 18 years old, lives at home and needs intensive care and constant monitoring
