About this organization
We provide social services and humanitarian aid to Chatham-Kent and in several countries around the world. Loads of Love operates a 17,000 sq.ft warehouse where it receives by donation - clothing, medical supplies, furniture etc. We network with social services and other community agencies to provide beds, clothing and other household items for those in need. We operate a thrift store. We have over 80 volunteers on a rotating bases who help with sorting, packing, thrift store and the referral programs. We support the Lambton-Kent Board of Education's co-op program by accepting 1 to 3 co-op students per term. We enable those requiring community service hours to fulfill their time at Loads of Love. We continue to provide support for orphanages, church planting, schools, missionaries and seniors in countries such as Zambia, Cuba, Ukraine, Honduras and others. Children of Hope provides monthly support to children in Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and Zambia.
