About this service
The Gordon Street low-rise building is located in lovely rural Fergus, just north of Kitchener, in Wellington County. It contains one and two-bedroom apartments.
Who can use it?
The applicant must: be safe should they leave the transitional living setting both on a daily or permanent basis. Demonstrate the desire and/or potential (with or without support) to participate in the program. Be safe when left alone or demonstrate this capacity for the future. Have a suitable plan for housing upon discharge. Require 4 hours or less of personal support per day, and 4 hours or less a week of community facilitator support. The applicant must show the potential to decrease the staffing support throughout the duration of the program.
