About this service
The school originally was built for the new community developed in the Blair Road subdivision. The school grew in population and demographics when in 1998, Dickie Settlement School (kindergarten to grade 3) and Cecil Cornwall School (grade 4 - 8) closed due to the provincial accommodation reviews. The board made the decision at that time, to bus the kindergarten to grade 6 students from the North Dumfries Township to Blair Road Public School. Students continue to be bused in from the west side of Cambridge, Browns Subdivision and part of the township.
