About this service

COVID-19 UPDATE: At this time, we are limiting the number of visitors to all our programs and facilities. 18 King St. E. 2nd floor Jobs Resource Centre is closed to the public until further notice. Each program and facility may vary, so we ask that you call before visiting any of our locations.

LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) provides language instruction in one of Canadas official languages to adult immigrants so that they may acquire the necessary language skills to integrate into Canadian society.

The program is open to all adult immigrants, 18 years of age and over, who are Permanent Residents, Landed Immigrants or Convention Refugees. A language assessment will confirm client eligibility for LINC and their current language proficiencies. LINC is fully funded by the Government of Canada through Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
