The City of Brantford believes communities thrive when everyone has a place to call home. We work with our partners to end homelessness. We help people find and keep a home where they feel comfortable, safe, and a part of their community.
We do this by:
- Putting proactive measures in place to help house people.
- Funding and providing housing services directly or through community partners.
- Managing wait lists for affordable housing, including housing with supports.
- Oversight and collaboration with housing providers and landlords.
- Owning and operating community housing units.
- Creating incentives and policies that encourage a broad range of housing.
