About this organization
The Brantford Pride Committee is dedicated to imagining and collectively organizing around the dream of an inclusive community where we can all live and love. Our committee recognizes that the Brantford 2SLGBTQ+ community is made up of folks with diverse lived experiences and we aim to challenge systems of power like: colonialism, racism, ableism, classism, misogyny, and heterosexism. To borrow language from Bricks and Glitter, our committee is intersectional by default, and critical by necessity, and is informed by both the needs of our communities and our own experiences as 2SLGBTQ+ people living and loving in Brantford.
