About this organization
The Adult Recreation Therapy Centre (ARTC) is a community-based adult day program offering structured activities to individuals affected by conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, MS, and other progressive disorders, as well as for adults with diminished abilities related to mild cognitive impairment related to early dementia. Activities are planned for the participants on a daily basis. The Centre offers a variety of social, recreational and therapeutic activities, including exercise and aphasia programs and has programs in Brantford and Brant County. Each day consists of a variety of activities that have been created to maintain and enhance the well-being of the participants, allowing them to remain independent at home.
